If you want to see it in this way, the Strasser Gala seems to be the most shimmering and exhilarated window of the world.
Every three years invites Europes leading manufacturer of harmonikas Ernst Strasser from Graz national and international artists, who made their career with the "button box", to the STRASSER GALA.
"By this big amount of high-class performers I did realize, how many artists do celebrate their success with the harmonika and make their living with it" fancies Ernst Strasser the program of the STRASSER GALA 2009.
The opening of the festival was done by the Nr. 1 of the austrian folkmusic "Die Ursprung Buam".
The 2.000 visitors got also excited about the performance of the Meisnitzer Band, Die Mayrhofner, Die Draufgänger, Die Krochledern, Oliver Haidt and from the promising newcomer Andreas Gabalier with their Strasser harmonika.
The performance of the pop queen Kristina Bach and the sensation on stage "Fantasy" did bring an international touch to the show.
Artists like Marc Pircher and Florian Silbereisen did thank Ernst Strasser for their long-term friendship.
