New„harmonic“ cooperation
Harmonikaerzeugung Strasser GmbH produces the trademark „Steirerklang“ exklusively for Michlbauer Harmonikawelt.
The names Michlbauer and Strasser are already very well known for all harmonica players. Starting with autumn this year both leading companies will establish through cooperation a new series of models with the sounding name „Steirerklang®“ on the market.
„Michlbauer is the best, what could happen to all harmonika producers domestically and abroad. Even a lot of our customers got the knowledge how to play a harmonika through the method of Michlbauer. I am happy, that we changed now from a longterm friendly relatenship to a cooperation-partnership!" tells the owner Ernst Strasser, who is running the company successfully in the 3rd generation.
„We can expand the range of our quality harmonikas significantly through the brand Steirerklang/Strasser and can provide an optimum selection for the customer.“ means Heinrich Schedler, general manager of the Michlbauer Harmonikawelt. Flori Michlbauer adds: „A harmonika with an outfit according to our criterions saves a solid learning progress and enables the playing of different styles of music! The customer himself can decide, what kind of harmonika from the austrian producer of quality harmonikas Novak and Strasser he wants to play.“
The Harmonikaerzeugung Strasser GmbH in Seiersberg by Graz (Styria) is one of the leading companies in this line of business. Many wellknown musicians, who are famous
through television and radio, prefer "Strasser" harmonikas because they are convinced from the top quality „Made in Austria“. More than 1.000 instruments will be produced in the 1.100 m2 new and most modern equipped manufacturing plant.

Michlbauer is brand leader in the area of sheet music in "Griffschrift" for the styrian harmonika or button box.
The publishing- and distribution company located in Höfen/Tirol takes care, that the most effectice learning method for this kind of instrument is always present in the european specialist shops. The Info-Center for the teaching classes is in Weyeregg at the Attersee (Upper Austria).
